JavaScript Menu Rollover Effect

I visited a web site using JavaScript and a JavaScript pull-down menu. The menus did not "rollover" or highlight as I scrolled the mouse through the JavaScript menu. I verified I had JavaScript enabled.
I tested the menu in Opera and Firefox and the mouse does the rollover highlighting effect as I scroll through the menu. So either this is a K-M (1.02) bug or, more than likely, a configuration problem at my end.
I temporarily disabled all dom.disable and capability.policy parameters in user.js. I then deleted the same in pref.js such that when I started K-M all values would be set to the default. I still could not get the rollover effect in the JavaScript menu. Then, just to be sure, I temporarily renamed user.js and prefs.js to force K-M to start with default values. All to no avail.
I would appreciate any help with this.
Thank you.
